SPEAK UP AND INSPIRE EPISODE #1 (Butterfly Visions Project)

The Speak Up and Inspire Series is an ongoing series by the Butterfly Visions Project that allow various women to share their stories of surviving abusive relationships, sexual assault and how these women sought help and rose above the tragic situations.
In this episode of the series, Tiffany Sanders the founder of the Butterfly Visions Project speak with Hayley Moran (the owner of Haylo Healing Arts Lounge where the video was filmed), Tenille Banner and Nicoleon Jackson.

Renewed Inspiration provides Kids Healthy Food Pantry to the Community
Powerful Woman Klarissa Byers, the founder of Renewed Inspiration has teamed up with local grocery stores in the city of Charlotte, NC to provide a "Healthy Food Pantry" for the children in the community for the summer.
Local grocery stores in the area from Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Trader Joe's and Publix, as well as many others have mad contributions to the cause by donating various healthy snacks and treats that the children can eat, including fresh fruit. The Healthy Food Pantry is available to the kids between the hours of 11 AM to 1 PM every Saturday, and will continue up until Aug. 11th.

POWERFUL WOMAN SPOTLIGHT: Author Melinda "Phoenix Flames" Smith
This POWERFUL WOMAN SPOTLIGHT is dedicated to Melinda "Phoenix Flames" Smith, the brilliant author of Venting For Release.
The book Venting for Release is a collection of poems that were conceived during a very dark period of Melinda's life. She used writing as a way to express those thoughts racing through her mind, at hard times when she couldn't sleep. Melinda states that the writing kept her from falling into a very deep depression, and the writing was very therapeutic for her. Venting for Release contains poems of anger, self reflection, and rediscovery.

Although the book Venting For Release is a very powerful book, the powerful woman behind the words, the poems and the book is just as mighty. Melinda Edenburgh Smith is the very caring and loving mother of 3 young kings, Mykel, Matthew and Andre. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio but currently resides in Atlanta, GA. In edition to being a prolific writer, and excellent mother of 3, she is also a mentor, life coach, prominent businesswoman (CEO of Phoenix Risings Enterprises which also includes her Tax preparation and credit repair business) and obedient child of god.

Renowned poet, author, publisher and entrepreneur Aliscia Melton was recently the main attraction at the premier networking event hosted by Blacktopia titled The Game and Greet at the Lucky 9anda Arcade in Charlotte, NC!
