"NO MORE!" a poem by WHY YET (author of ENTANGLED HEARTS)

NO MORE!

You spewed profanities at my soul
Raised your hand that was meant to hold
And I still loved you.
Slept with others behind my back
Called me a liar as if it were fact
However you were unaware
That I stared into the hollowed messages
Of your deceit
Written by your hand
Exclaiming love for one you sold your store too
Until she became bored of you...

Then you returned your attention to me
Because the attention you sought was not to be...
And mentally I was already gone.
Hurt too long, for my love to remain
Cried too many times to consider staying
So I dreamed of the day I would be free of you
And your tyrannical behavior.
You granted me my wish with your egotistical behavior
Demanding that which you did not earn
Nor did you deserve of me...
Raising your hand one time too many
I cried tears that were much too heavy
And yelled NO MORE!
NO MORE!
NO MORE!
You will raise your hand to me no more.

Untitled Poem about a Smart, Beautiful Woman Crush written by Darrell Herbert

Brilliant poet Darrell Herbert pens a beautiful poem written about a crush he has on a smart, beautiful girl.

Um...Hi

Girl, you are smart and beautiful
Um...I was just wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend
Hi, if you want to get with someone you can't be so nervous and scared
Girl, you are smart and beautiful
Um...I was just wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend
Hi, if you want to get with someone you can't be so nervous and scared
But, she's so beautiful

And I wonder if she has faith in someone as quiet as me
And I wonder if she can teach me rocket science and Geometry, and I wonder if she notices other guys staring at her dirty laundry with her clean pairs
And I wonder if she has been drinking while in her murky waters
And I wonder if she has a loving mother and a very supportive father
And I wonder if she has a boyfriend that calls her babe
And I wonder if she knows that as a child I never had the chance to play
That's when she stated that this is not her last time

"Paradise Love" a poem by Darrell Herbert

Poet and self described "Artivist" (Artist / Activist) Darrell Herbert writes a brilliant poem dedicated to his love (as well as "making love") for beautiful, powerful and strong women titled "Paradise Love".

"Paradise Love"

Lovely as a rose, if nobody knows, Lord knows
You know and I know where this thing will go
I'd rather fasten my seat belt and take it slow
I'll give you the beat, you take the flow
Before the morning, after the show
My love for you is known
Another one, there is no other one
Your love rises like the morning sun
Coming down, but I know that you'll always come
I can't imagine life, because you got the key to my sights
Holding a prayer, saying a prayer
No haters, no need for favors
You are my savior
Baby, you are my guide
You can ride, we won't die
No need to front because you are pushing it behind
In the bed, it's not easy to hear what I said
You can frame it, you can even say it
Putting my hand on your spot, started from the bottom, you put my love on top
And I watch you make it drop, baby
Yeah, you make it pop, baby
And you keep grinding on me
Yeah, you've been sliding on me
Can't miss what you've been finding on me
Are you done?
I know you want some
Going faster and faster, make it last, no disaster
Loving you good, just like you knew I would
Taking you down and reaching for the goods
Got you in the mood, it's whatever you want to do
